The interiors have more of black plastic that faces the front passengers. The new 2009 Audi A4 offers host of features which are included even the base model and are known to be the best in its class. Leather seating, power accessories, AM/FM/CD player are all standard features which are included even in the base model. The premium version includes the 14 speaker set up with a six  CD changer, ipod connectivity , blue tooth connectivity, active cruise control, lane monitoring and collision warnings etc. Audi is also known to share many features with other German sedans like the Multi Media Interface with audio, navigation and climate control features which can actually be tedious to use. The switches inside the cabin are also well placed, on the centre console and are used to navigate menus and make selection that appears on a dashboard screen. However the engine available in the Audi A4 Avant is a gas powered four- banger which offers a smooth ride. we found that the trottle response in the Avant was immediate.

The 2009 Audi sedan model is equipped with four cylinders which are paired with either six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic in Quattro models. We found that the front wheel drive is standard on the basic sedan and convertible model and they are also equipped with CVT(continuous variable transmission).

We were impressed by the number of choices that are available for the drivers. There are features such as independent suspensions across the board, Drive Select Option that allows the driver to tune services for steering feel, ride comfort, throttle input, and transmission shifting, electric power steering, four wheel disc brakes are all included to assist the driver to have a relaxing drive.

The commendable feature was the steering which is light at low speeds and firms up at high speed. The auto mode also offers options to control the steering. In the Dynamic mode it offers tight and aggressive controls whereas in the comfort mode can be used to drive lazily on the highways. We found the fuel consumption in a sedan to be around 21 mpg city/27 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined.

Overall the Audi ha s a good performance with a galore of high tech options available for the driver, the only thing that we found missing was the S-tronic dual-clutch gearbox.

Audi Quality

The new Audi A4 is wells styled with spacious interiors and has an improvement from its predecessors. The added length to the newer version not only offers more space but also makes the ride comfortable. The longer body style has enabled more cargo space which is ideally required for a family travel. The new style is very practical and can suit even the taller individuals. It has more leg space and adequate headroom so that even the taller person can sit in comfort. There are not many Americans who would wish to buy a wagon but still the wagon offers fold-down rear seats, its hatch and its comprehensive array of rear load-support bars, hooks and nets are really commendable. The exterior beauty of this Audi is personified. The interiors have also received huge acclamations for its modern and wonderful style and the high comfort levels which it provides.

Overall we found that Audi has done a laudable job by designing roomy interiors using high quality materials. They have in fact offered tough competition to its rivals and left them behind in terms of good interior design combined with comfort and luxury.

The 2009 Audi A4 is relatively new to the market and hence no crash tests have been conducted. However Audi has not compromised on the safety feature and it offers a list of basic features that are included even in the base models. The list includes six standard airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and LATCH child-seat hooks.

Conclusion
The 2009 Audi A 4 is a newly designed modern and stylish car which possess most of the options that one would dream off. The main highlights of this new car are that it is quite spacious and comfortable, it has sufficient trunk space, the interiors are pleasant and luxurious.

The drawbacks that we noted were it did not feature S- tronic transmission, and the driver has two many options to choose from the drive select menu.
