Though, we admit the fact that the Vantage might not have the ultimate performance for some of the fast and furious sports car in the market, but when it comes to delivering the goods while having a pretty look at the same time, the V8 Vantage is out of sight.

The one thing that we can say about the styling of the Vantage is that it is one of the catchiest cars in the market today. But the car has a lot more than just catchy looks (as we said earlier), and the Vantage packs a 4.7-liter V8 engine under its hood, to delivers immense performance. Body Styling and Features

The two-seat sports car 2010 Aston Martin V8 Vantage is available in a soft-top roadster and hatchback coupe body styles.

The standard equipment list for the car lists 18-inch wheels, a limited-slip differential, performance tires, rear parking sensors, xenon headlights, automatic climate control, automatic power fold mirrors, a four-way power passenger seat, an eight-way power driver seat, complete leather interior, a tilt-telescoping steering wheel, a battery disconnect switch (for extensive disuse), faux-suede Alcantara headliner, a 160-watt stereo having six-CD changer, iPod interface and USB audio jack and a navigation system.

The roadster Vantage comes with a completely automatic soft top.

Some of the optional equipments for the car include 19-inch wheels, heated seats, cruise control, and passenger seat-height adjustment, memory functions, Bluetooth, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, satellite radio, a Bang & Olufsen audio system and a navigation system. There also is a sports pack that gets you revised springs, antiroll bars and dampers and lightweight forged alloy wheels. There is plethora of other customization features available as well.

Under The Hood

The 2010 Aston Martin V8 Vantage has a 4.7-liter V8 engine pumping under its hood, and generating maximum power of 420 hp and maximum torque of 346 pound-feet. The standard transmission here is a six-speed manual transmission, though; there also is an option of getting a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

As per Aston Martin tests the Vantage will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in around 4.9 seconds. The combined fuel economy for city and highways here is 14 combined mpg for manual transmission, and is slightly better for automatic transmission.
