The standard and the only transmission for this engine is a five-speed manual. The upper trims are powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine, pumping maximum power of 142 hp and 137 lb-ft of maximum torque. The standard transmission for this engine is a five-speed manual transmission, though there is an option of getting a four-speed automatic transmission.

Safety Equipments

The standard safety equipments for 2010 Kia Soul includes antilock brakes (front-wheel discs on the base trim of Soul, while for rest of the trims it has four-wheel discs), front side airbags, side curtain airbags and stability control.
