The 2009 Guangzhou Auto Show has witnessed the debut of 2010 Lexus GX 460. This luxurious SUV has plans to make its local debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. All car enthusiasts can have a glimpse of this edition at the showroom window in late December this year.

The new Lexus GX 460 will replace the GX 470 and is known to be more powerful, efficient and quieter than its predecessor. The GX 460 will be available in two offerings. The standard or the base model will be priced at $51,970 (plus $ 875 processing and handling) while the premium edition will be priced at $56,765 (plus $ 875 processing and handling charges)

The new edition will be powered by an all new 4.6 liter V8 engine that will pump out 301 horsepower and 329 pounds feet of torque and will be mated to an all new six speed automatic transmission with sequential shift.

The Lexus GX 460 will feature folding seats, active front headrests that move up and forward, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, a multimedia package with ipod and a nine speaker audio system.

This new edition will feature a host of  advanced safety features  such as ten airbags, wide view front and side cameras, a reversing camera, KDSS( Toyota’s kinetic Dynamic Suspension System),pre collision system, lane departure alert, Intelligent high beam, and constant all wheel drive.

The plush Lexus GX 460 is undeniably designed keeping in mind the safety and comfort of the passengers.
