First Look

Probably, we simply should be happy that we are seeing the 2010 Saab 9-5. After the bankruptcy troubles of General Motors, the company was planning either to completely shut the Saab or to sell it. GM Bought Saab way back in 1980 and it looked as if it will face extinction this year, but the Dutch car manufacturer Spyker came at the right time and saved it. As a result of which we are seeing the very first Saab car under he new ownership in the form of 2010 Saab 9-5.

It should be noted that the new 9-5 hasn’t shaken its ties with GM completely. As a matter of fact the 9-5 which was designed during the occupancy of GM shares its certain groundwork with the Regal and Buick LaCrosse. But, thanks to its styling nods from the 2006 Saab Aero X concept car, the all new 2010 Saab 9-5 that we have is a lot more sleek and slippery, having a wraparound greenhouse.
