2011 Chevrolet Cruze displayed at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show



Chevrolet displayed its 2011 Chevrolet Cruze compact sedan at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. Even though this compact sedan is available in most parts of the world but the company is still under the process to launch it in Chevy’s most vital market.

This edition is an intriguing alternative to luxury and stylish cars like Civic and Corolla.

This Chevy Cruze edition will be powered by 1.4 liter four cylinder engine which would not only offer good performance but also impressive fuel efficiency.

2011 Chevrolet Cruze

Europeans have a strong penchant for such cars and the Americans have recently started to appreciate the quality and importance of such cars. The fuel economy regulations altered in the country have made them look around for such cars.

The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze will be available in three trims LS, LT and LTZ trims. It will be powered by 1.4 liter turbo charged engine or 1.8 liter naturally aspirated engine. The engine lineup would offer option of both the engines. They will further be teamed with six speed automatic or manual transmission.

The turbo charged engines on the LT and LTZ editions would generate 138 horsepower and 148 pounds feet of torque while the 1.8 liter naturally aspirated engine would deliver 136 horsepower and 123 pounds feet of torque.

This new edition has already taken the automotive market with a stride and it is obvious that this edition will add a feather to the Chevy cap.
