2013 Ford Fusion NASCAR Sprint Cup Car Revealed

Ford revealed the 2013 Ford Fusion NASCAR Sprint Cup Car as a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway Media Tour. This model is a product of effort by the designers of Ford for bringing brand identity back to the sport. It reflects the currently revealed 2013 Ford Fusion production vehicle with fully redesigned fresh face and sleek silhouette. The Fusion Cup Car was engineered to be face of new era of stock car racing. Jamie Allison Director at Ford Racing stated that they needed Fusion to be the vehicle, which helped return stock car to NASCAR. It is for the 3rd time, the company simultaneously introduced NASCAR and production versions of new model.
The first was launched in the year 1968 with Ford Torino, while the second in 2006 when newly launched Ford Fusion appeared on the track and in showrooms. Design Features of 2013 Fusion Sprint Cup Car include designers addressed overall proportion of the vehicle for reflecting proportions found in production Fusion; design and brand cues in side of vehicle and identifiable front end grill with unique look of Ford.
