BMW Likely To Launch The Vision Concept

The new car which BMW has decided to launch at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show is a four door coupe with three cylinder turbo and hybrid drivetrain. The recent images which were floated on various websites define a blend of BMW cues and a modern aggressive coupe shape.
The new model is likely to be called as the Efficient Dynamic Vision. This new edition will comprise of the latest fuel saving and emission reducing technologies. The body style would be the legendary shark nose with a tinge of modernism. The Vision is expected to be seen on the streets by 2011 as a two door coupe as well as a convertible. This new model would Show off BMW’s upcoming design direction like the CS concept did in 2007.
However, the real news and details and specs would be released only when the model is displayed at the Frankfurt Motor show.
Late last year there were rumors that BMW was working on green sports car concept based on the lines of M1 Homage Concept. The recent news revealed by an insider states that that the company was planning to unveil a sustainable sports car concept at the upcoming Frankfurt event.
The new car is expected to carry the BMW powertrain but in addition it will also feature exemplary design and material elements.
There are other reports that show that BMW is building a two seater sports car which would be released at the end of 2012 and would be a limited edition car.
