The car comes has standard all-wheel drive, comes with an extensive list of features, elegant interiors, a V6 engine generating 300 hp and superior build quality. But when you talk about the real world real-world appeal, there’s something that just don’t make this Acura as desirable as it was on papers. One of the biggest factors that definitely would have affected the appeal of the Acura RL is its styling. The exteriors of the car looks a tad dated on a whole, especially when you compare them with its more modern and fresher rivals. Overall, you could say that the car is aging and definitely needs a bit of restyling. And Acura has given it some touch0ups for the model  [...]

The car still is a steady performer when equipped with four-cylinder engine in its sedan trim, while becomes a slight more exciting sport sedan when powered by a V6 engine. But for the model year 2011, the biggest news is the introduction of the wagon model. The Wagon model for the TSX offers a tad more cargo space than most of its rivals, has sufficient storage space and a flat load floor, which easily can carry objects up to 70 inches long. Go for the TSX Sport Wagon and you can get the panache and versatility of a car which honestly has become less appealing every model year. Acura NSX 2011 – What We Know About It

The rumors of the next Acura NSX were floating in the air ever since the highly admired original NSX bowed out with 2005 model-year, and the rumors became stronger with the appearance of Acura Sports Car Concept (ASCC) appearing in the 2007 Detroit Auto Show. This is what made the auto traders think about the next NSX, and to think that the Acura NSX 2011 will be based on the zoomy Acura Sports Car Concept. The auto traders could very well be right, and the reason why we are so sure about the Acura NSX 2011 is because even the original NSX was quite an unexpected turnout in the model year 1990. Apart from this there are other reasons as well. Firstly, the ASCC (Advanced Sports Car Concept) primarily was developed to proclaim Acura's latest design center in Pasadena, California. The parent  [...]

2001 Acura Integra – One Of The Finest Front-Wheel-Drive Car

The 2001 Acura Integra that we are covering here belongs to 3rd and the final generation of Acura Integra. The third generation Integra stayed in market from 1994 to 2001. The Integra was one of the finest front-wheel-drive cars of its class as the car had a sporty silhouette, which was perfectly made to drive through the wind and at the same time was immensely exciting to drive. The 2001 Acura Integra was available in two body styles: a 4 door sedan and a 2 door hatchback, across all the trim levels, including the performance trim the GS-R. Initially Acura launched two lower trim levels of Acura, the RS and the LS. But as the years passed the lineup was updated and the GS trim was removed in model year 1998, while another RS trim was introduced in 2000. All the trim levels for the 2001  [...]

2003 Acura MDX – Potent First-Generation MDX

2003 Acura MDX – Potent First-Generation MDX

The 2003 Acura MDX belongs to the first-generation of Acura MDX, and entered the market at the time when most of the luxurious SUV’s still were featuring body-on-frame construction and some of the customers still were fascinated with the idea of "crossover". But despite all this, the midsize MDX overshadowed the other car-based luxury SUVs and offered a regular 3rd row seating, which could be folded neatly into the cargo flooring. Right from the very first time it was pretty clear that the Acura MDX was an out-and-out on-road SUV having a smart all-wheel-drive. Though, we thought that the car was a tad deficient, in terms of standing and personality. As a result the original Acura MDX became a hot favorite among the families looking for an upscale and comfortable 7 passenger vehicle. For  [...]

2010 Acura ZDX – Stylish but Not Practical Crossover SUV

First Look 2010 Acura ZDX with its first look has the capability to influence any potential buyer in the market, but as we’ve said earlier “looks can be deceiving”, the 2010 Acura ZDX is also another deceivingly stylish car. The journey for Acura ZDX started as a MDX crossover, which got our admiration for a long time, and the reason being that it brought three-row crossover functionality and capable handling in one car. But now the things have changed and have changed weirdly (at least for Acura ZDX), the car now flaunts a rakish exterior, and due to this exterior the car has lost its three-row crossover functionality and hasn’t got anything additional for it. The only thing that comes in the mind with the first look of 2010 Acura ZDX is that “what was the need to make a change  [...]

Acura Is Trying To Be Different By Focusing On Fuel Economy

Acura Is Trying To Be Different By Focusing On Fuel Economy

There is a stiff competition between various luxury car brands. Each one is trying to prove them selves and make space for them selves in the market. Each brand is trying to amuse the customer by offering better features, big and powerful engines which would offer better horsepower. Each brand is having a hard time trying to prove to build their image and status. With Lexus and Infiniti both trying hard to grab space by providing powerful engines Acura is moving in the opposite direction. It is trying to focus hard on fuel economy rather than power to differentiate them selves in the luxury car segment. John Watts senior manager of Acura product planning says that it is hard to hit the 2016 CAFÉ requirement and Acura is moving towards the fuel economy direction. For many years we  [...]
