2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette Will Be Having Seven-Speed Manual Transmission

We just found out that the 2012 Chevrolet C7 Corvette will be having a 7-speed manual transmission. Now, though this report hasn’t been confirmed by Chevrolet, but according to a source familiar with the C7 project told that the forthcoming Chevrolet Corvette will be having 7 speed manual transmissions. This announcement from Chevrolet comes immediate after Porsche proclaimed that the 2012 Porsche 911 will be having a 7 speed manual transmission in addition to its dual-clutch 7 speed PDK automatized manual gearbox. 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Will Have A Ecotec 2.5 Under Its Hood

In their recent announcement GM said that their redesigned 2012 Chevrolet Malibu will be having the  company’s new Ecotec 2.5 4-cylinder engine under its hood. The new Ecotec 2.5 engine is expected to give an expected fuel economy of more than 30 mpg on highways and is also said to be significantly more influential than the engine it restores. The twin-cam, 2.5 ltr direct-injection engine succeeds the present Ecotec 2.4 engine, and will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission in the new 2012 Chevrolet Malibu.
