When chevy announced their arrival of the all new camaro , it has been wet-dreams for most of the Camaro’s fans. It drove everyone insane when it featured in the  movie Transformers as Bumble-bee. Everyone from all  age groups and both sexes where left with jaw dropped expressions when the camaro appeared in style to pick by the lead actors in the tunnel after a rude remark by the actress. Now chevy has turned our dreams into reality, with the launch of the 2010 Camaro. Fantasies aside, let’s see if the Camaro is ready to live up to all the hype.

Leaving its design out of this,  what makes the Camaro actually tick is the engine that delivers an adequate 304 horsepower at 6,400rpm and 273 pound-feet of torque at 5,200rpm, while the 6.0litre V8 version  puts out 400bhp.

Driving the Camaro was really amazing because of the rear wheel drivetrain and four-wheel independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes with 14 in (36 cm) rotors and four-piston calipers, and 21 in (53 cm) front / 22 in (56 cm) rear wheels covered in huge 275/30R21 front / 305/30R22 rear tires. But when attacking corners it tends to oversteer but the ride was still comfortable because of the independent suspension. Braking on the 20inch tires was  incredible.

And one of the best features of the Chevy is when the engine does not need all of its 400 horsepower, the Active Fuel Management will shut off four of the cylinders , so that you can leave behind a smaller carbon footprint i.e. you save fuel.

The interiors are laden with loads of goodies too like air filtration system with pollen filter ,defogger, telescopic Instrumentation, analog with Driver Information Center display, includes speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and engine temperature gauge etc. OnStar is the only navigation option available .

We found that 2009 Chevrolet Traverse offers a comfortable ride from zero to 60 mph in a little bit more than 8 seconds. The brakes were also very responsive which makes the Traverse feel sporty in spite of its large size.This model offers better fuel economy in comparison to other similar vehicles. We found that the front wheel Traverse estimated fuel economy of 17 mpg city levels, 24 mpg on highway and 19 mpg combined whereas the all wheel drive Traverse models estimated 16 mpg city levels, 23 mpg on highway and 19 mpg combined.

Chevrolet Traverse Quality :

The 2009 Chevrolet Traverse offers a new image to GMs interior quality.  This model is perfectly designed to offer comfortable seating space for all its passengers. Whether you are seated on the captain’s chairs or a three-seat bench in the second row it provides complete comfort and convenience to all the passengers which makes it an ideal vehicle for long distance travel. The third row seat is also equally comfortable and can seat adult passengers with comfort unlike other vehicles of similar kinds where the third row gets congested and stuffy. This version also provides convenience to the passengers on the mid row to move forward or backward up to four inches. The area behind the third row also provides sufficient space to store cargo, in fact we found that the storage space was more than any other average mid size sedan. The engine is also well collaborated and does not make much noise. The brakes and suspensions are blissfully good and assist in providing a very smooth ride even on unpaved surfaces.The interiors are also well designed taking care of all the smaller fine prints. The quality of the materials that are used is good but does not provide fineness.

The safety features that are included are front seat side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags for all three rows, antilock disc brakes, traction and stability controls.
