2012 GMC Acadia – Superb Family Hauler
First Look: The traditional family hauler has came a long way in the recent past and seen plethora of changes, starting from the wagons, which was replaced by minivans, and then comes the truck-based SUVs. The modern crossovers that we see around have blended the traits of SUVs and minivans and have also took the visual reminds of the wagon. One of the finest present family haulers is the 2012 GMC Acadia, which basically is a huge crossover, which boasts a refined ride and at the same time has a vast cabin, which can easily fit up to 8 adults. The best thing about Acadia is its unibody carlike architecture, which means that it is a lot more space-efficient and lighter, in comparison to the heavy SUVs having truck-like body such as the GMC Yukon. As such, the Acadia offers a lot more cargo [...]

GM To Re-Introduce Small Truck
The GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado might have created a huge buzz in the market and may even have lured a handful of consumers towards them, but the fact is that they never have been the real successor of the coveted S10 throne. The small baby pickup truck from General Motors, were sold like the “Turboman” toy in the movie “Turboman” feat Arnold Schwarzenegger. But the same craze has not been for the aforesaid two models from General Motors and the shortage of warmth for the two models has made the car makers think. If it makes you believe our talk, we have a report suggesting that the sales figures for Colorado have gone down by 30 percent since previous year. But it’s not the Colorado only who has taken a blow with the increasing sales of hefty heavy weight pickups. Now, let’s [...]

A Chevy inside minus a Chevy outside! Here’s introducing you to the Monsieur GMC Terrain. A glance and you would never know that under this brute steel, there is a Chevy Equinox lurking. This is a different beast in many ways. Looking for a CUV which is a Family Mover and a looker? Prod no further, 2010 GMC Terrain it is. First Look The 2010 GMC Terrain could be seen as a vintage GM crossover SUV or at the same time could be seen as a bold Chevrolet Equinox take off, but with the same platform, powertrain and features. But the all new Terrain is basically a pretty decent vehicle, and not like some of the other old-school GMs, and that’s why we are ready to give it a little appreciation. On a whole the 2010 GMC Terrain together with Chevy’s Equinox is all set to take on the small-to-midsize crossover SUV market around the world, which has been dominated by Toyota and Honda, for a long period of time. What’s New for 2010 GMC Terrain? The 2010 GMC Terrain is a completely new crossover SUV and is benefited by the same updates which this year's spruced up Equinox got. General Motor Puts Final Pontiacs And Saturns On Sale
A new stratagem aids General Motors to sell the inventory right away, a phenomenon that most of the automakers dream of. This carmaker has offered dealers huge incentives to get the redundant Pontiac and Saturn brands out of its factory. According to the new strategy introduced by GM, the dealers first need to procure the car from the automaker to avail the incentive of $7,000 each car. This car can then be sold to retail customers at a discounted price. However, the offer expires on 4th Jan 2010. It is considered to be a smart move by the giant that declared bankruptcy on 1st June 2009 and redeveloped. The company would have had to wait longer to sell the cars if it offered direct discount to customers individually. GM declares that the 15,000 vehicles of Pontiac and Saturn in [...]

Sneak Preview: 2010 GMC Terrain
The 2010 GMC Terrain priced at MSRP: $24,250 - $31,000 is a huge family car. This edition shares the components of the Chevrolet Equinox under the hood but does not have smooth lines like its opponent. The test drives vehicles were generally clad in deep red color but personally we feel that the black and white model is more appealing to the eye. The GMC Terrain is equipped with six speed automatic transmission and direct injection and offers a choice of various powertrains to choose from viz. front wheel drive or All wheel drive and four or six cylinder engines. They also offer various trims which are equipped with features depending upon the trim you choose. The base model which is priced at $24,250 is quite impressive and offers good handling with features identical to the equinox. The [...]
