Porsche is already working hard to launch its next gen 911 edition. The facsimile of these cars are seen being tested on the streets which mean that the car is already ready for production. The prototypes which were seen feature LED indicators on the head and tail lamps. Porsche’s chief of Research and Development, Wolfgang Durheimer revealed that the new edition would be more competent and unique in every manner. Porsche to introduce Cayenne S Hybrid edition

Europe has tightened the emission law and laid huge penalties for failure to meet their requirement. This has made it compulsory for all European Automakers to cut emissions in the coming year or face costly punishments. Porsche has earlier not shown much concern for environmental impacts although Porsche fans would argue that their edition always have relatively low displacement with or without turbo charging and are high performing vehicles. In the past few months spy cameras have caught prototypes of next generation Boxster sports car on a number of occasions. Porsche is already amidst of developing its next gen car which will be available in the showroom late next year as a 2012 edition. It is expected that Porsche may be planning to introduce a special fuel efficient version of this edition. There are rumors that the company is all set to set up a lightweight, turbocharged four cylinder platform for the 2012 model. Unveiled: 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder

Porsche recently unveiled the 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder at the LA Auto Show. The authorities at Porsche have designed the new edition with a much more powerful engine and with a slender body line. It would be available in the showroom by February 2010 and would be priced at $61,200. The Boxster is designed to shed approximately 176 pounds of weight which would assist in increasing the performance of the luxury car. Its silhouette is designed by lowering the car height by 20mm. The new edition will be powered by 3.4 liter flat six engine which would generate 320 horsepower.  It will be teamed with six speed manual transmission but would offer the option of 7-speed PDK automatic transmission. The spy cameras have captured images of the prototypes of Porsches next gen Cayenne edition in Germany .The sketches which have been floated reveal various important details about the new SUV . It is known that this new edition will be called as the 2011 Porsche cayenne and will be available in the showrooms by May 2010. The new edition is smaller in size compared to its predecessor and is engineered on the lines of Audi Q7 and next gen Volkswagen Touareg.
