2012 Volkswagen Eos – Deserves Consideration
First Look: Eos is the name of a goddess of ancient Greeks. She was the goddess of dawn and was said to open the gates of heaven for welcoming the sun. The same can be said about the 2012 Volkswagen Eos having retractable hardtop convertible top or the exclusive in-built sunroof. But unlike its goddess namesake, the VolksWagen Eos do not get lot of respect – and by respect we doesn’t means offerings in the form of goat meat and wine. When it comes to convertible rankings, the Volkswagen Eos almost gets forgotten despite its plethora of niceties. In addition to the ground-breaking roof, the VW Eos also comes with a 2.0 ltr 4-cylinder turbo engine, which is shared with GTI, but is capable of delivering punchy power and has superb fuel economy and also a quickly-shifting DSG automatized [...]

2012 Volkswagen GLI – Practical- and Fun-To-Drive
First Look: Usually there haven’t been a lot of models to pick from between the luxurious sports sedan from German automakers and the Japanese manufacturers’ "econosport" compact sedans. This probably is what Volkswagen saw years ago and introduced their GLI. This GLI was a VW Jetta, but with the engine of the performance-oriented GTI and suspension tuning. The last iteration of the car impressed us a lot, (VW dropped the model after 2009) and now we hear that the concept has been relaunched in the market as the 2012 Volkswagen GLI. Now, considering the fact that we haven’t been a huge fan of the all-new small Volkswagen sedan till now, its perfect to be a tad concerned about the snappy variant of the new VW Jetta. The car flaunts plethora of changes introduced primarily for making [...]

2012 Volkswagen CC – Typical VW
First Look : Seeing at the recent cars from the German auto maker Volkswagen, it became pretty apparent that the company is foraying into a completely new forte of car making, where economical prices and abundant size will be taking over the expensive and luxurious cabin materials and different styling. But the all new 2012 Volkswagen CC that we are taking about here, is different from those cars and will attract people who don’t mind paying a tad extra for the top-notch construction, terse engines, Germanic driving dynamics and brilliant styling. So, if you liked all those aforementioned features in your previous VW’s then the 2012 Volkswagen CC surely is a welcome remnant from Volkswagen’s not-so-old school. While the 2012 Volkswagen CC shares its platform, dashboard design and [...]

2011 Volkswagen Routan – Not the Best Minivan
First Look: If you thought that you’ve seen 2011 Volkswagen Routan somewhere, you are absolutely right and we’ll tell you why. But let’s have a first look at the Routan. Volkswagen vans have been the first choice for hippies and camping fanatics for decades, so when the 2011 Volkswagen Routan entered the market people were delighted to see a Volkswagen van. But now although the 2011 Volkswagen Routan does have a VW in its grille, but considering the fact that its more of a mainstream van and is intended for modern families, many of the of people will be disappointed. Though, they might be solaced from the fact that the Routan is actually a Volkswagen Van, but that too only in name. Positioned behind the exclusive front façade and underneath the faintly higher-quality interiors of [...]

2011 Volkswagen Tiguan – Different Flavor
First Look If you have to put the 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan in a shelf in the automotive world, it will be placed in the gray area between the luxury SUV models and mainstream crossover SUV. It’s the niche where the utility and economy comes face to face with badge gratitude and upscale appointments. Now the big question to be asked here is that can a vehicle be both luxury and mainstream? The true answer to this question will be a blathering, "Perhaps." The interiors for VW Tiguan's are a welcome departure from the conventional plastic-trimmed cabin for the typical compact crossover. The quality of material used here comes near to some of the premium brands such as Audi, whilst the strong construction of the interiors here eclipses its competition. Even the road manners of Tiguan's attain [...]

Review of 2011 Volkswagen Jetta
The latest Jetta with a refreshed face and interiors{according to Volkswagen} has been launched. A worthy rival for its peers including Honda Civic, Toyota’s best selling sedan across the world Corolla and not to mention the Mazda3. Our first impression of the Jetta was going around and having a look and checking if Volkswagen have given us the new Jetta or the globally developed Vento sedan. Visually you would be hard pressed to know the difference between both. However a review is a review and we get down to the task of shredding the car apart literally{pun, unintended}.. Looks As discussed earlier, the new Jetta looks like a grown-up Volkswagen Vento. The Vento is a budget sedan built for third world countries and is based on the Polo hatchback. It would soon be introduced to Europe [...]

2011 Volkswagen GTI – A Sporty Hatchback
First Look Don’t know about you people, but to us “statistics” is just another type of lie. And if you evaluate the 2011 Volkswagen GTI on the basis of the statistics available for the car it clearly is one of the least desirable sports hatchbacks available in the market in current times. But as we said earlier, “statistics” are just another type of lie and so is it. The truth here is that the Volkswagen GTI actually is a likely victor among the competition. We would admit the fact that the 2011 Volkswagen GTI surely isn’t the fastest to reach the 60 mph mark among the competition. Now you would be asking how the VW GTI can be ranked so high in such a sport-oriented segment. The simple answer to this could be: refinement and drivability. What’s New for 2011 Volkswagen [...]
