Curtain Raiser: 2011 Hyundai Elantra

The automobile industry is filled with new cars entering the market on a daily basis. The new range of cars that will enter the auto market are 2011 Hyundai Sonata, the upcoming Equus executive limousine and the Genesis Sedan and Coupe. Hyundai is also getting ready to present its 2011 Hyundai Elantra.
The spy cameras have captured images of this edition being tested on the snow and on the back of the transport truck fully camouflaged.
It is expected that the next gen Hyundai Elantra will be designed in a sleeker body style with a coupe like profile despite its four door layout. The Elantra edition will also feature a high rear deck and tweaks of flowing design along the sides which is quite similar to the 2011 Hyundai Sonata edition.
The new Elantra will offer improved fascia with long and angular headlights and updated hood and bumper shapes change in body parts.
There is no information about the specs of this edition however it is expected that this edition will be powered by the new Theta II direct injection four cylinder engine which will be designed in house by Hyundai. It is expected that this engine which will also make its debut in the Sonata edition and will be teamed with a six sped automatic transmission.
Hyundai is designing the car which offers impressive features at a competitive price. This edition is planned to offer tough competition to the Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Chevrolet Cruze and Toyota Corolla.
Hyundai has received commendable success in its earlier Genesis model and hence most auto enthusiasts have their eyes laid on the debut of this new 2011 Hyundai Elantra edition.

Hyundai is a very good company. It has got very good sedans and luxurious cars in the market. Elantra surely will give good competition to cars like Corolla and Civic.
