The Fiat Bravo is Fiat’s new small family hatchback car which will be imported by Fiat India from Italy as completely built up units. It is expected that once this edition is launched in India, it will one of the most expensive hatchbacks. Fiat has plans to launch this premium edition to enhance their brand image by manufacturing a true world class product in terms of quality and performance. It is expected that the Fiat Bravo would be available at an estimated price of Rs17.5 lakhs.
Silhouette
Fiat has designed this edition with an elegant and strong personality that will appeal to most auto enthusiasts. Its body line is well crafted with smooth lines and sharply rising waistline that makes it very desirable. It is a luxurious car with interiors designed to offer maximum comfort and a plush look. The Bravo is deigned to comfortably seat five passengers.
Powertrain
The new Bravo edition will be available in petrol and diesel editions. The petrol edition will be powered by 1368cc four cylinder engine which will deliver 148bhp. The diesel edition will be powered by 1910 cc, 16 valve turbocharged engine which will produce 150bhp at the rate of 4000rpm. This edition sprints from zero to 100kph in 9 seconds at a top speed of 190kmph. It offers a decent fuel economy of 11kmpl on city level and 14 kmpl on highways; however a better fuel economy would have been appreciated.
Features
The new Bravo is equipped with various features such as alloy wheels, power steering, power windows, body colored bumper, tachometer, trip meter, remote fuel filler, centre remote locking, folding rear seats, rear wiper, and rear defogger.
It also includes safety features such as airbags, rear seat belts, fog lamps, and anti lock braking system.
Overall, the Fiat Bravo is an impressive hatchback that would offer tough competition to its rivals.
