First Look At The 2010 Impreza WRX STI Special Edition

The 2009 Los Angeles Show witnessed the unveiling of the latest hatchback from Subaru know as the 2010 Impreza WRX STI Special edition. Subaru announced that this special edition will satiate the likes of all those car fans that are ready to trade a few facilities to achieve a better handling performance in comparison to its predecessor WRX STI.
The engineers have updated this edition with suspensions which have been borrowed from WRX STI spec C model. This new suspension which is employed from the Japanese domestic market will add upgraded springs (front springs stiffened by 16% and rear springs stiffened by 29%), 1 millimeter thicker rear stabilizer bar and stiffer rear sub frame bushings.
This new edition will be priced at $32,995 plus $ 695 delivery charges and will be available for sale by early spring. The new edition will be priced $2000 lower than its predecessor and will be limited in production. Subaru plans to produce only 125 units of this edition.
The 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Special edition will be available in metallic shades like Dark Gray, Obsidian Black Pearl and WR Blue Mica.
The WRX STI Special edition will feature a similar powetrain like the standard WRX STI edition, which would generate 305 hp and 290 pounds feet of torque and would be mated to six speed manual transmission. This edition would sport stability and traction control, Symmetrical All wheel drive system, DCCD (Driver Controlled Centre Differential) and Brembo Brakes.
The main difference between the standard edition and the special edition would be the special edition features manual air conditioning instead of automatic climate control, halogen lamps in lieu of HID headlights, a single disc CD player with four speaker audio system in place of six CD changer teamed with 10 speaker system.

This Japenese brand not known much in the world, slowly growing its stake in the automobile industry. whichever car subaru has manufactured has got respect to tis customers!! I am sure this model will also gain same respect and its going to give a tough competition to other Hatchbacks!
I don’t know why SUBARU is not much in market, this car has one of the finest engines and smooth class! This car has to be one of the most successful hatchbacks of 2010.
I have a Subaru liberty and let me tell you, I am a person who loves to change his car every now and then. Its been more than 3 years and till date this is the best car I’ve ever had!
I don’t understand why good cars are always in limited edition? Can’t the company increase its units little bit more.
Not only its hatchbacks or sedans but also its SUVs are powerful and compared with big brands like Range rover, Audi, Porsche.
From the pic, this car looks simple, don’t know if there is some surprise package with it.
Cheaper than other cars and yet have good features!
