Gumpert Apollo Sport – The Super Car

Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur, a German company which is popular for manufacturing some of the best sports car in the world has recently proved their claim with a new Nurburgring lap time for its supercar. Gumpert Apollo Sport is a mid tier option of the company’s Apollo line of supercar which is teamed with 4.2 liter V8 engine , which can generate 700 horsepower.
Gumpert claims that this model performs a 7m11.57s which is lower then the Radical SR8 which record prove that they clocked a blistering 6m 55s lap time.
The Apollo sport is well crafted with a tubular space frame of chrome molybdenum steel with an integrated safety monocoque structure which is fabricated in carbon fiber. The twin turbo mid engine gets cold air from the huge air intakes from the roof and side panels.
The Sport edition is equipped with full racing aero package with a GT wing and lower front spoiler which makes it different from the standard edition. The interiors of the car have distinguishing features like air conditioning, Alcantara trim, CD player, and sat NAV, it also includes reversing camera in its standard features.
The cost of the Apollo Sport is $423,167 plus taxes.
