Jaguar Plans To Launch A Five Door Coupe

Jaguar is all set to produce a five door coupe on the lines of the Audi A5. It has been known that this new edition is code named RD7 and is an evolution of the RD6.
The new edition would be equipped with suicide rear doors and a 2.7 liter V6 diesel engine. It will also borrow the hinged tailgate arrangement from the XK-E coupe. There are many features which are assumed to be replaced by the modern Jaguar as exhibited on the 2010 XF and 2010 XJ edition.
Jaguar’s XE is a new model which will make its debut as a sports car and will be popularly recognized as an XE. The designers are designing the XE as a successor of the legendary XK-E.
Jaguar is ready to adorn the automotive market with its coupe and roadster body styles. It is expected to return to its sports car heritage with the F type concept.
The RD 7 will be seen on the streets sometimes in 2014 while the XE model will be available in 2013. Insiders have revealed that the company is facing financial crunch which is the reason for the delay in the launch in spite of them designing the new model in a cut down version.
