Renowned motorsport company Stillen has revealed finer details of its new edition Nissan GT-R race car. This new edition has already made its way across the country via Fed Ex Transporter and is now settled in Maine. This car is ready to compete in the upcoming Newfoundland Targa Rally in Canada and is waiting for Steve Millen to drive it from Maine to Newfoundland.
The car has been in the works for quite sometimes before it achieves perfection. There are some changes which are done in the powertrain like removal of catalytic converter, new set of downpipes, a new intake system with K&N filters, a pair off blow off valves and an electronic boost controller. To make this model extremely safe it is equipped with AP Racing carbon-ceramic brakes, new coil-overs with Eibach Race Springs, adjustable sway bars and endlinks and Bridgestone tires measuring up to 285 mm in the rear. The interiors are equipped with a pair of racing bucket seat and a full role cage. The external body style includes features such as new front lip spoiler, side skirts, canards, trunk lid, and rear wing, carbon-fiber replacements for the bonnet, air ducts and side mirrors.
This model provides a 620hp rating which was achieved using regular 91 octane gasoline but with boost from the turbochargers dialed up to 15 psi.
The GT-R performs a quick run from 0-60mphin just 2.9 seconds with a trap speed of 127.9mph.
We will wait to see how it performs in the rally and offer first hand information to the entire automotive fan.
