2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser – Pulled From Ashes
First Look: The 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser enters the market for the last curtain call from Chrysler, after the highly exaggerated news of its death. Chrysler decided to bring back its retro-styled wagon for the last time, in single trim level, having one transmission and engine choice and very few options. But instead of leaving the auto market in grand style and boom, the 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser looks like leaving the market with a whimper. Rather than fitting the outgoing model with the potent turbocharged engine, that we’ve seen in earlier year the 2010 Chrysler is sending off the retro style wagon with its gasping usually aspirated base four-cylinder engine. The remaining features for 2010 model year also doesn’t fare any better, and for the model year 2010 the PT Cruiser the touring [...]

2011 Hyundai Equus – Gripping Option For A Large Opulent Sedan
First Look We are afraid that the Korean auto maker this time has gone off from its conventional genre of car making. We think that Hyundai believed that its traditional recipe of success – making cars that offers immense value and quality – has worked, and so let’s try something different. As a result of which we got the 2011 Hyundai Equus. The 2011 Equus we are talking about here is a full size premium sedan priced at $60,000, will definitely raise a few eyebrows from both, its rival companies and from the consumers. Most of its rivals have separate brands for launching luxury models, like for Toyota its Lexus. But Hyundai believes that, creating a different brand will distract their consumers motivated by the affordability of their cars, and with the success of Hyundai Genesis [...]

2011 Nissan Versa – Trouble-Free Transportation
First Look The cheap cars at one time were considered as penalty boxes, and even though these vehicles came with a warranty, owning one was definitely not what you would want. But that doesn’t seem to be the case with our 2011 Nissan Versa, which clearly is one of the cheapest cars on sale in US, but from any aspect it is not at all a penalty box. What’s New for 2011 Nissan Versa? 2010 Saab 9-5 – Finally The Saab Is Here
First Look Probably, we simply should be happy that we are seeing the 2010 Saab 9-5. After the bankruptcy troubles of General Motors, the company was planning either to completely shut the Saab or to sell it. GM Bought Saab way back in 1980 and it looked as if it will face extinction this year, but the Dutch car manufacturer Spyker came at the right time and saved it. As a result of which we are seeing the very first Saab car under he new ownership in the form of 2010 Saab 9-5. It should be noted that the new 9-5 hasn’t shaken its ties with GM completely. As a matter of fact the 9-5 which was designed during the occupancy of GM shares its certain groundwork with the Regal and Buick LaCrosse. But, thanks to its styling nods from the 2006 Saab Aero X concept car, the all new 2010 Saab 9-5 [...]

2010 Buick LaCrosse – Completely New LaCrosse
First Look The 2010 Buick LaCrosse in simple words has been redesigned, reinvented and reinvigorated. The ovoid styling and spherical body of its previous generations is gone for the model year 2010. The 2010 LaCrosse is a lot more edgy and sharper than its previous models and also boasts a new sporty and absolutely catchy and modern cabin. In terms of size the all new LaCrosse is just about of the same size, except for couple of extra inches of height, but the huge area of latest sheet metal gives a substantial appearance to the car. Even in terms of driving the car is respectable by segment standards. Though, there is not many of hula boo for the debut of the car, but the 2010 LaCrosse is one of the best surprises given by GM in recent times. What’s New for 2010 Buick LaCrosse? The 2010 [...]

Resale value of 2010 Ford Taurus value jumps to 39 percent
It has been a year since the 2010 Ford Taurus came out and it is still quite popular in the market. The average resale value of this car recently jumped up to 39 percent which is about $7,100 as compared to the 2009 model. According to Rose Peng, manager of Global Lifecycle Analytics Department (GLAD), this increase in price reiterates the appeal of this vehicle. She further added that the success of this car can be attributed to the successful launch of the car and also the because of the state of the art technology that it has. The design is really good and the car has improved a lot as compared to previous automobiles from the same manufacturer. The resale value of this car is now better than 2010 Toyota Avalon, which is a really strong competitor of Taurus. Peng said the 2009 Taurus [...]

2011 Ford Mustang – Best Pony Car In The Market
First Look: The 2011 Ford Mustang in one word would be “Different”. It surely is not like the other Ford vehicles that we’ve seen in the past or which many of you might have in your garages. The ford Mustang enters the model year 2011 with plethora of updates in terms of styling and functionality (modernized styling, new-fangled features and comfortable interiors). After seeing the 2010 Ford Mustang we were pretty sure that the there aren’t going to be any significant improvement in the 2011 model year. But, it looks like the cut throat competition in the modern auto world the Ford engineers decided to go step further and started resolving the very primary problem with the 2010 Ford Mustang, which was its “Powertrain”. So the Ford Motors Co is not the one who will sit back and [...]

2010 Nissan 370Z – High Performing Affordable Sports Car
First Look If you think of the perfect attributes of just the ideal sports car, it pretty much will be like the 2010 Nissan 370Z. The 370Z is an apt two-seater having maximum power of more than 300 horsepower, rear-wheel drive; small dimensions, seductive styling, a restrained weight of less than 3,300 pounds and big wheels. The car even is seductively priced and starts around $30,000. Certainly, just as many of the other transitions from dream to reality, the actual world of Nissan 370Z is also not perfect. But the one thing that is here for sure is that this embodiment iconic sports car from Nissan is definitely something to look after. The redesigned 370Z coupe, which was introduced last year by Nissan, wowed us with its performance numbers, which were similar to some really expensive [...]

2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder – One of the Last of Its Breed
First Look 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder is one of the last of its type. The era of inexpensive, front-drive coupes like Honda Prelude, Toyota Celica and Acura RSX is gone way back. The consumer taste has changed drastically in the recent times and so has the corporate priorities. The modern market has been experiencing a rebirth of reasonably priced fun cars, but majority of those fit in to the hot-hatch genre. But still there are some consumers who have their heart set on those good ol’ days of Sport coupe and are looking for one, then the 2011 Eclipse Spyder is a straight relic. The best thing about the 2011 Eclipse Spyder is that it also is one of only a few convertibles existing in market. Ever since the Eclipse Spyder entered the market with its another variant the Eclipse coupe [...]

2011 Volkswagen GTI – A Sporty Hatchback
First Look Don’t know about you people, but to us “statistics” is just another type of lie. And if you evaluate the 2011 Volkswagen GTI on the basis of the statistics available for the car it clearly is one of the least desirable sports hatchbacks available in the market in current times. But as we said earlier, “statistics” are just another type of lie and so is it. The truth here is that the Volkswagen GTI actually is a likely victor among the competition. We would admit the fact that the 2011 Volkswagen GTI surely isn’t the fastest to reach the 60 mph mark among the competition. Now you would be asking how the VW GTI can be ranked so high in such a sport-oriented segment. The simple answer to this could be: refinement and drivability. What’s New for 2011 Volkswagen [...]
