Preview: 2011 Kia Sorento



The new 2011 Kia Sorento which is a new crossover is aimed between the Honda Pilot and the Honda CR-V and will manufactured by a Korean Automaker Kia.

The 2011 edition of Sorento is extremely different from the original vehicle which was launched in 2002 and then upgraded in 2005.  The new edition will enter production later this year and will be available for sale early next year. The company proposes to start production at a new factory in West Point, Georgia.

Body style:

The 2011 Sorento edition will be much longer and larger in size in terms of proportion. It will be able to seat more passengers comfortably than its predecessors. The designers have designed the new grille in a manner which makes it very appealing in comparison to the outdated edition.

Feature:

The new 2011 Sorento will feature options of four cylinders a four cylinder engine which would generate 172 horsepower and a 3.5 liter V6 engine which would produce 270 horsepower and a smaller four cylinder and diesel engine. Buyers will also have the option to choose from the five and six speed manual or automatic gearbox and the option of front or all wheel drive. It will also include additional features such as flexible third row seating, audio system with MP3 and ipod connectivity and a navigation system with Blue tooth connectivity.

Kia has taken all measure to make this vehicle and they are expecting a five star safety rating in the European Crash test NCAP.
