Prices Announced For 2010 Kia Forte Koup

The 2010 Kia Forte Koup is being designed exclusively to cater to North American market. It is designed in the elaborate well equipped studio at Kia Motor America in California.

The Kia Model will be available in EX and SX trim levels. The EX will be equipped with 2.0 Liter inline-4 that would produce 156 horsepower and 144 pound feet of torque. This version also offer options of five speed manual transmission or a four speed automatic transmission and will offer 25 mpg for city levels and 34 mpg for highways.

The SX model will be a little sporty and would be equipped with a 2.4 liter engine that generates 173 horsepower and 168 pound feet of torque. This version is premium version and is outfitted with 17 inch wheels with subtle body trimmings.  The buyer has the option to choose from six speed manual transmission or five speed automatic transmission.

The pricings were announced yesterday and as expected the Ex trim with manual transmission would cost $17,290 and an additional $1000 if you choose the four speed automatic transmission. The SX trim or the premium version would be priced at $18,390 with six speed manual gearbox and $19,390 with five speed automatic transmission.

The SX version can optionally select for leather seating at an additional cost of $1,000 and a moon roof for $600.
