It is a very proud moment for renowned Auto maker, Bugatti as they are celebrating their centenary year and are also planning to unveil a super sedan. The company had shortlisted three designs for the next generation Bugatti but the officials at Bugatti have confirmed that the 2009 Bugatti Galibier 16C is the latest concept.
The company officials have decided that they would start production sometime in 2012 when production of the Veyron has come to an end. It is planned that this high performance saloon will be tagged at £ 900,000.
The Galibier 16 C is planned to be produced as the lightest car in its class hence they will be constructed this model using a mix of aluminum and carbon fiber. The exterior body is styled with LED lights at each end. It is a style that is truly borrowed with flavors from the Bugatti Type 57 Atlantique. The interiors are quite spacious and can comfortably seat four passengers with a large wooden dash that is occupied by two centrally raised dials which show availability of power and speed. The most enticing feature is that the interior features a removable clock manufactured by Switzerland famous brand Parmigiani.
There is not much information that the company has revealed about the new editions technical aspects but it is presumed that it would feature the Veyrons 8.0 liter 16 cylinder engine which would generate around 800 horsepower .It will do away with the four turbo charged engine and replace them with a two stage super charging system. This high performance version will feature an eight speed automatic transmission.
Bugatti has plans to design the world fastest and highest accelerating four door car.
Good Luck to the Buggati team in their upcoming endeavor.
