Sneak Preview: 2010 Lotus Exige S 240

The automobile industry is heaving with news from various automakers that are ready to update their current edition. The automobile engineers are all geared to offer better comfort and performance while keeping the price structure in mind.
Lotus has also followed the trend; however its 2010 Exige S240 features most of the features from the 2009 edition yet has worked towards making it exciting. The new model has been revamped with a new front clip and a rear wing to make it look impressive and different from its successor. The rear wing is crafted from the Exige GT3 road car concept from 2007 to offer good speed.
The new edition is equipped with a 1.8 liter engine which generates 240 horsepower and 170 pound feet of torque. It sprints from zero to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds at a top speed of 150 mph.
The 2010 Lotus Exige S240 offers fuel mileage of 20 mpg city levels 26 mpg high way.
The Lotus edition offers adjustable launch and traction controls, with a 2077 pound curb weight and suspension tuning from the 2009 Exige. The instrument pack, tire pressure monitoring system, safety airbags are all equipped as per the earlier edition.
In spite of the various features that have been picked from its successor this new 2010 Lotus Exige edition has different looks and offers a better performance.
The 2010 Lotus Exige S 240 will be priced at $65,590 and will be launched in the US this fall.
