Sneak Preview: 2010 Suzuki Kizashi

Suzuki is all set to launch a new sedan which will be known as ‘Kizashi’. Kizashi which means ‘something great is coming’ sounds like a new bike edition. The Kizashi will come with a flashy brush stroke script used by the name plate badge. It seems Suzuki is striving hard to make their name above mid size sedans.

Kizashi does not bear any resemblance to any of its predecessor however, it follows the footsteps of Toyota Camry. It will feature a different aura in the automobile segment with a place between compact and mid size cars in the US market. Kizashi is 183 inches long which is just a few inches longer than the compact cars like Toyota Corolla, VW Jetta, and Mazda 3 and other mid size sedan. It is known that it will have a wheelbase at 106 inches which is several inches longer than the compact cars and very close to some mid size sedan cars. If we compare the specs, we can conclude that this Suzuki edition will offer tough competition to Ford Fusion and Kia Optima for its size. Suzuki is working hard to pull crowds towards Kizashi.

The 2010 Suzuki Kizashi will be designed and built by in house engineers in Japan. Suzuki is well known for building sturdy and unswerving in house vehicles.

2010 Suzuki Kizashi feature:

Kizashi will feature a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine teamed with either a six speed manual transmissions or CVT automatic. It will also offer a choice of either front or all wheel drive. The Kizashi edition will also be equipped with a European tuned suspension with a five link rear configuration. They have extensively used aluminum to keep a check on the weight and offer comfortable driving. Kizashi is also equipped with Akebono brakes which are superior to those outfitted in any other mid size sedan. The interiors are furnished with well bolstered sport seats to offer an appealing ambience. The kizashi is also equipped with major safety gears such as eight standard airbags including rear side airbags, and electronic stability control.

The perfect combination of good performance and in between size with anticpated affordability would make Kizashi one of the most desirable cars in the US. They can achieve a ‘high’ which no other auto maker has achieved.
