The highlight of his edition that can be noted is that it will be equipped with a powerful version of the N54 twin turbo straight six engine unlike its predecessor that is powered by single twin scroll turbo N55 engine. This robust engine would generate an uprated 322 horsepower and 332 pounds feet of torque.

There are chances that there might be slight differences between the standard of tune and emission for Canada and US. It is expected that the US version might be powered by a powertrain similar to the Z4 sDrive 35is which generates 335 horsepower and 332 pounds feet of torque.

From the information that has been derived from the leaked documents states that this new edition will feature a new sport  exhaust  system with black chrome tailpipes, high output cooling fan, an extra water cooler, and an optional  seven speed  DCT dual clutch gearbox. Accessories like fog lights will be deleted from this edition to assist for more engine cooling.

It is expected that the 2011 335is edition will feature 18 inch alloy standard wheels, a unique rear bumper diffuser insert and will also offer the M Sport package.

It is anticipated that the 2011 335is coupe edition will be seen in the Canada market by March while the convertible edition is scheduled for May.  BMW may launch this edition in the North America market at the same time or could come ahead of the Canadian market launch.

The M sport package will include upgraded body line finish. The new edition body structure would be sportier and sharper in appearance. The interiors would also be upgraded and would include BMW M shifter, M foot rest and M steering wheel to enhance the driver-car interface. It is presumed that the Z4M edition will also feature carbon fiber trim.

BMW plans to offer the buyers a choice of exclusive paint work and wheel designs. It was not sure from the prototypes whether BMW was also testing the performance of the latest accessories designed for the new edition.

Some previous accessories that are designed for Z4 M Sport package includes better brakes, and transmission upgrades.

BMW has kept all information under wraps; we will have to wait till we get a spy shot of this version again or till BMW releases more details.

BMW is known to be a class leader since its origin.  The 5 series Touring wagon and the Sedan are the most awaited vehicle from the BMW line up. BMW is already geared to unveil the final result of the 5 series in a few months from now.  It is rumored that BMW has plans to debut the 5 series sedan as the 2011 model at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show likely to be held in March next year.

The streets of Munich have witnessed the disguised prototypes that are being test driven. It is expected that under the trunk it will continue with the 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine which was used in the X6. BMW plans to introduce a 5 series diesel hybrid edition for the European market while the conventional diesel engine would be used for the US segment.

The 2011 BMW 5 series will be equipped with six speed manual transmission and a six speed Steptronic  semi auto gear box on the European versions.  The company plans to introduce a new eight speed unit from ZF also for the premium editions. There are rumors that all wheel drive is expected to the return to the lineup very soon.  The 5 series will also feature better fuel saving steps, specially designed aerodynamic wheels and brake energy regeneration system.

The 5 series has been designed with a little relaxed roofline which might lead to a smaller cabin. The body will also be sculpted with light weight materials like carbon fiber and aluminum. The front section of the car would be designed using aluminum frames while the traditional steel would be used for the cabin .The lighter weight would augment better handling and improved performance. The front end will be equipped with independent suspensions with Mac Pherson struts with multi link layout at the rear.

Overall the 2011 BMW 5 Series will reward the buyers for patiently waiting for its arrival.

The 159 Sedan

The four door 150 Sedan will be the first Alfa Romeo car to make its presence in the US. Its unique Italian Silhouette with a perfect blend of superior quality would offer a tough competition to the present American and European models.

The 159 will be equipped with 3.2 liter direct injection V6 engine which would produce 260 horsepower.  It would be equipped with standard all wheel drive to compete with other Luxury auto makers in the US. The most exciting part about the 159 sedan is that it is a true luxury car with a base price of $34,000. This would make other luxury car makers like BMW, Mercedes Benz, and Audi on their toes.

The Brera Coupe

The Brera has already made its name in the European segment. It is a top notch sport hatch back car with a sleek, yet classy styling, and 2 by 2 seating layout. The Brera is a well known crowd pleasing car. Like other Alfa models the Brera features its iconic triangular front grille and unmistakable headlamps which add to the front look of this Italian beauty.

This sport-hatch will be equipped with a similar powertrain like the 159 sedan. It will feature a 3.2 liter direct injection V6 engine which would generate 260hp. It will also feature all wheel drive system. The beauty of all Alfa Romeo editions including Brera is that they are equipped with stiff but efficient suspensions which offer a comfortable ride. This luxury car would reach the US shore by 2010 and will be available at a base price of $36,000.

The Spider

The Spider convertible is the most stylish and desired car amongst other Alfa Romeo models. The Alfa Romeo Spider will offer two powertrain options.

It will be equipped with fuel efficient  2.2 liter four cylinder engine in the  base edition  and would offer option of 3.2 liter  V6  edition from 159 Sedan edition. This two door version is expected to be smaller and lighter than the 159 Sedan and the Spider.  The light weight body would offer better acceleration and handling.

The images reveal the company’s plans to move towards the crossover development to keep up with the pace of its competitors. Audi Q5 and Mercedes Benz GLK editions have already probed their worth. To maintain its leadership position BMW has planned the debut of the next gen X3.

The next gen X3 model will be unveiled next year but will be known as 2011 BMW X3. The images reveal that the dimensions of the car has been expanded to offer more interior space and make seating more comfortable for the passengers. The body silhouette is also designed with completely finished headlights and tail lights. It is quite prominent that BMW has borrowed some styling cues from the X1 compact SUV.

The company plans to load the car with the latest technology features, and all car fans can expect a full array of features attached to this edition. The next gen edition will also be equipped with Bi-xenon headlights and around corner capability. The seat would feature massage functions to offer complete comfort while travelling.

The company proposes to use similar technology under the trunk. It is expected that the company will offer options of four engines to the Europe market which would range from 177 to 300 horsepower while the US market would get options of two gasoline engine which would generate 231 horsepower and 306 horsepower. The company plans to introduce the hybrid model also very soon; however the company has kept all details under the wraps.

The new Audi A1 will cater to the likes of upmarket compact cars viz. the Mini Cooper. The new Audi edition will be available in various different variants just like Mini.

Audi has plans to launch the A1 in the regular three door and five door hatchback models in the initial phase. They would later move towards designing a classy convertible and a compact MPV.

The latest images that were captured reveal the shape of the grille and LED detailing in the headlights. It is expected that this edition would be equipped with a range of 1.2 liter to 1.6 liter in displacement and would generate an approximate output of 200 horsepower. There are rumors that Audi will unveil a hybrid edition also at the earliest.

Audi CEO, Rupert Stadler has confirmed on many occasions that the company plans to augment its brands line up to 40 models by 2015 and also enhance its production facilities. To make their plans into a reality, Audi has already invested € 200 million in its Brussels plant to start production of the new A1 range. With all the new technology that has been used it will now be able to produce an approximate 120,000 units annually.

To increase its sales and make them self known in the premium car segment, they have decided to launch A1 in America also.  With its launch in America it would offer tough competition to Mercedes Benz and BMW.

The Automakers have placed a second thought as US has still not widely accepted the concept of hatchback cars even luxury makers like BMW And Mercedes produce  smaller luxury cars but do not target US for hatchback cars.

Sergio Cravero , CEO Alfa Romeo has revealed to the Italian newspaper LA Stampa that  they have plans to launch the Giulia in 2012. Giulia is believed to be the replacement to the European 159 and would be the first high volume car to return to the US market.

Americans are still in a pace to overcome the recession and at such times introducing the Giulia which would offer more headroom and space at a decent price would be a very practical move.

The company has still to disclose finer prints of this model.

Cadillac is targeting the European section which has a large potential for stylish wagons. To tab this segment the company just needs to build its brand loyalty and encourage its customers to buy their vehicles.

There are reports which mention that these models have not gained much popularity in America. This is one possible reason why renowned companies like BMW and Audi have moved away from the high performance wagon market in the US. There are reports which confirm that the wagon has very poor sales and demand which barely breaks double digit sales each year. Chrysler 300C and Dodges Magnum and SRT-8 have not gained much popularity in the US irrespective of the strong powertrain.

If Cadillac wishes to gain their customer strength it is expected that they would price their wagon at an approximate price of $60,000- $65,000 which is the price of the sedan version. In such an instance they will be able to undercut the Mercedes E63AMG Estate wagon by over 20,000 and which would help them gain more customers.

This model is going to be equipped with unique features on the exteriors as well as the interiors. The exteriors will be beautified with a new Frozen Gray Mettalic matte finish for the entire M6 line. The interiors would be decorated with Merino leather trims in light gray two tone finish with a contrasting stitch to offer an exciting look or will be available in black color.

To make it a high performance car it will be equipped with revised springs, dampers and stabilizers.  The height will also be lowered with 10mm lower up front and 12 mm lower in the rear.

We are waiting for the BMW to release its pricing so that car enthusiasts can gear up for the buying procedure.However we might have to wait till 15 September to get true and precise information about the car., when BMW will unveil its new M6 Competition.

It is believed the coupe and the Convertible would undergo some serious changes in the body styling like the face lifted sedan which was launched last year. The exterior styling would possibly incorporate a wider track, and revamped headlight and taillights.

The interiors would get a new makeover and would add features such as a new armrest and a second generation iDrive Sytem with four selector buttons. The iDrive Sytem would sport a navigation system, a new 8.8 inch LCD Display and an optional 80 GB hard drive music.

The new version would additional have some mechanical features such as an auto stop and start function, a brake energy regeneration system, electro mechanical power steering with reduced rolling resistance.
