There are plans to offer this car in the global market unlike the earlier edition which was available only to a selected few segments. Auto enthusiast from the country can rejoice as there is a wide opportunity that this edition will now be available for sale in the local market.

Horacio Pagani has revealed a few details about the upcoming C9 edition to the Argentina AutoBlog. The Pagani head revealed that the upcoming C9 edition will be powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine which is developed in collaboration with Mercedes Benz and AMG. This burly engine will generate an estimated 700 horsepower and 737 pounds feet of torque which is slightly lower than the Zonda R’s power of 750 horsepower. However this out put is sufficient enough to offer tough competition to other super car brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini.

The C9 would be a completely new car in terms of concept, dynamics, weight distribution, and materials used. It is estimated that this new edition would feature an approximate 3,770 new parts among which are specially developed Pirelli tires, carbon titanium chassis, and Bosch electronics.

The overall styling cues have been picked up from Zonda but the overall proportion will be smaller.

It is expected that this new Zonda edition will be introduced towards the end of the year and pricing is expected to start at an approximate $1.2 million.

Production of the prevailing Zonda edition and its various models will end this September and Pagani will then move into new production facility which will assist in increasing the production facility from the current 16 cars to 60 cars per year.

This can be seen in the P540 Aperta which has been designed on the lines of 599 GTB Fiorano for Edward Walson, son of the cable TV inventor.

The P540 Aperta is his dream sports car which featured in the 1968 Fellini film Toby Dammit a movie which was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe.

The P540 Aperta is a golden colored topless edition with lines like the C3Corvete at the rear end. This special edition is powered by 6.0 liter V12 engine which generates 611 horsepower similar to the one found in standard 599 GTB.  It is teamed with the F1 six speed gear box.

In spite of all the changes done on this edition it weighs just 45 pounds more than the base car. It has been designed with carbon and fiber to keep a check at its weight. The engineers have worked hard with all effort and completed the task in just 14 months from sketch to the actual edition.

This custom made car was delivered to its owner in Fiorano. Edward Walson, the owner of the car was impressed by the engineers at Ferrari and commented “This is the most special Christmas present of my life”

Ferrari always leaves no stone unturned to keep up to its reputation of a good brand and to satisfy its customer as well.

The Enzo Successor is internally codenamed F70 and is being tested with two different powertrains. It is estimated that the new edition will be powered by a smaller twin turbo V8 engine which would generate around 700 horsepower and the other option is a twin turbo V-12 engine which would generate an additional 50-100 horsepower.

Though Ferrari plans to move with the V12 unit for its new flagship model, the engineers are still working hard to match the tough emission standards for Europe. There is a debate whether the company may finally decide to add the smaller V8 engine to the car making it a true successor of the F40 (as the F40 sports a similar engine)

The engineers are focusing not only to make this edition faster but also smaller, lighter and more fuel efficient. They are dedicatedly working to keep a check on the weight and will be using carbon fiber body panels and carbon ceramic brakes. They will also be taking cues from 2007’s Millechilli concept.

It is expected that with a wheelbase of 104.3 inches and a raft of active aerodynamics on board, the F70 will weigh around 2,200 pounds and will look different from any other model.

The company plans to start production of the F70 in 2012 and the just like the Enzo only 399 examples are expected to be made. It is definite that it will carry a heavy price tag along with it.

This new edition will offer tough competition to exotic rivals like Buggati Veyron and Lamborghini Reventon.

Since its concept has been realized the company has seen turmoil in its management which delayed the launch of the final product. It has now been confirmed that the final design of this super car has been set for production.

The Arash AF-10 is designed to be an affordable supercar which shares its resemblance to the Ferrari Enzo. The AF-10 is expected to be priced at $534,000. The company plans to offer tough competition to other small scale supercar manufacturers like Pagani and Koenigsegg. Arash also plans to compete against main stream competitors like Ferrari and Lamborghini.

The engineers have crafted the AF- 10’s body with carbon fiber including its chassis to keep a check at its weight. It has been confirmed that this super car will not weigh more than 2,645 pounds which is 353 pounds less than the Ferrari Enzo and 1,102 pounds less than Mercedes Benz SLR Mc Laren.

This new edition will be powered by Corvette’s Z06 sourced LS7 7.0 liter V8 engine which will pump out 550hp and 465 pounds feet of torque. It will be teamed to the rear wheels via a six speed manual Grazino gearbox.

Arash plans to introduce the AF10-S model in the near future. This high performance car will be engineered to generate 800 horsepower and 553 pounds feet of torque. They have plans to further introduce a super car which would generate 1,001 hp and 700 pounds feet of torque.

The company plans to build just 70 such cars in the next five years. If the companies plans fall in line and on time they propose to introduce a cheaper edition called the AF8 which would definitely be less powerful than the AF-10.

All super car enthusiasts can eagerly wait for the launch of the AF 10 as it is definite that their patience will be highly rewarded.

They have plans to introduce this new car with a retractable hardtop just like the roof Ferrari has used on the front engine California. The retractable roof line is a distinguishing feature  for a mid engine super car and  will make it stand apart from its opponent editions like the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider, Mercedes SLS  AMG  Cabriolet, and the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder.

The light weight hardtop will be made from aluminum or carbon fibers and will fold into the sleek body frame between the engine compartment and passenger compartment. It is presumed that the company will retain its unique scissor door design, unlike the SLS AMG edition that will lose its Gulling doors in the new roadster version.

It is rumored that the convertible McLaren edition will be powered by the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine which would produce 600 horsepower just like the coupe edition. However, you can expect a premium price tag of approximate $250,000 attached to it.

The designers at McLaren are working hard to preserve the MP4- 12C’s top speed of 200 plus mph.

This 1965 CSX2601 vintage model has been sold at the auction at this weekends Pebble Beach Concours  d’Elegance in Monterey, California. This car was earlier put for auctions at various venues but did not sell. This vintage car was estimated to be sold at an approximate $ 10 million – $ 15 million. However the bidding ended at S7.25 million. At a price of $7.25 million it is still the mot expensive American car that is ever sold at an auction.

Dana Mecum, president of Mecum Auction where this vintage car was recently put for auction has rightly said that  there are many American  Vintage cars which shares its  racing history but there is no car which can claim a finer race hour than this vintage Daytona  Cobra Coupe model not even its sister car CSX 2299. The legacy of the Worlds Manufacturers Championship win has been with us for many years but they still remind us of the proud moment in the US race history. This CSX 2601 model was also licensed to be driven on the roads. History says that this car was owned by a North Dakota businessman who owned a string of gas stations. He used this car to drive the 300mi trip to collect receipts.

Mc Laren’s new car which is ready to be unveiled will compete with competitors like Ferrari F430 and Lamborghini Gallardo.  Ron Dennis, the highest authority at Mc Laren has confirmed that the company has finalized the name for their new venture and will be known as MP4-12C.  He added that the company plans to release two other cars in the near future.

Rob Dennis described the MP4-12C as a car that can be used on a daily basis. This model would feature V8 engine which would produce 550 horsepower and self adjusting suspensions.  It would also be equipped with a seven speed gear box and a carbon fiber chassis. The doors of this car are designed to open upwards rather than outwards.

Rob Dennis stated that this new version is just the initial phase of the three fold model roll out of Mc Laren. The company has plans to launch two new versions of two seater cars.  One edition would be of a small car which would be on the lines of Porsche 911 and the bigger edition would compete with Porsche Carrera GT. These two new versions are expected to be launched by 2015. The company proposes to produce only 1000 cars in the first year  and move up to 4000 units when new editions are released.

The 8C Competizione will be available in the coupe and convertible variant and will be lighter and more powerful compared to the current 8C competizione. The new performance version   will be designed as a lighter version of the new Mi To hatch. They will be known as Alfa Romeo 8 C competizione ‘GTA’ wherein GTA stands for Gran Turismo Alleggerita (Italian for lighter grand tourer).

This powerful engine will not only have a powerful engine but will also offer a stunning style and dynamics to the car. The new 8c GTA will be styled to offer new looks and will feature a vented bonnet, with uniquely styled front bumper and plenty of exposed carbon fiber.   It would be designed with sports bucket seat with carbon fiber trim to assist in making it a low weight car.

The Alfa Romeo 8C GTAis estimated to tip the scales at 1450 kg which would be 150 kg les than the standard coupe and 100 kg more than Ferrari’s hardcore F 430 Scuderia . There are many other modifications done to make it a premium car like stiffer suspensions set up, light weight and rubber wrapped alloy wheels and carbon ceramic brakes.

This will be a limited edition car and the company proposes to restrict them to only a 100 units.
