The company proposes to offer wider options to the buyers by offering numerous configurations with a wide selection of drivetrains, design details and equipment levels. The body style of this hatch reveals traces of the 2009 S60 Concept that was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. The designers have offered an entire new front design to body panels such as the front wings. The C30 carries a new embellish look which distinguishes it from the Volvo S40 and V50.

The C30 includes latest features such as a newly designed grille, new air intakes similar to those found on the XC60 crossover and a larger Volvo badge. To offer a more distinctive personality the designers have added two new wheel options, with an Orange Flame Metallic paint scheme along with visible exhaust tailpipes on the T5 and D5 model.

All the automotive fans that are driven towards performance will get an option of Sport chassis with stiffer and more distinctive properties. The steering of the C30 is more precise due to the installation of stiffer bushings and a lower steering ratio which makes it a good performer. To boost handling performance the engineers have increased the spring stiffness by 30%, similarly the dampers and roll stabilizers also get added stiffness.

This model is equipped with diesel or gasoline units. It features a compact 1.6 liter engine which generates 100 horsepower or a T5 turbocharged 2.5 liter engine which would generate 230 horsepower.      The 1.6 liter turbo diesel engine which features the engine stop or start technology is the most fuel efficient model which returns a fuel economy of 60mpg. It also offers transmission choice of six-speed manual transmission, five-speed automatic or a six-speed Powershift dual-clutch unit.

The company proposes to disclose finer details about the vehicle closer to the date of launch and the automotive team would keep a tab on all information that is released to update all our viewers.

This news which was revealed via Twitter feed of South African Audi dealer, Audi Cape town is however not confirmed by the officials at Audi. The German Car Blog has added another layer to the story.

From the reports of the spy shots, it is clear that the RS3 version would not have any major exterior changes. It would however upgrade its handling and aerodynamics of the hatch and will be equipped with the same engine found in the TT RS.

Spy shots reveals that the fog light area has been blacked out on the RS3 test mule which means that there would be some changes that would be done in the RS3 version.

It is equipped with engine similar to TT RS and hence its performance would also be similar. It is expected that RS3 version would generate 340 horsepower and 332 pound feet of torque and would sprint from zero to 60 mph in about five seconds.

It is expected that it would compete with Subaru WRX STI, Mitsubishi Evolution X and Mazda speed 3.

There is not much that can be revealed about the RS3 as the company is tight lipped about their new venture.

The name L1 is derived from the European concept car which endorses all fuel efficient cars which utilizes 1.0 liter of fuel per 100 kilometers however, VW has designed the car in such a way that it offers a gas mileage of 170 miles per gallon.

This L1 model is well crafted to keep its weight at bay hence it has been designed with a narrow body using carbon fiber. The only hitch that can be noted is there is lack of storage space; a little more space would have been appreciated. This model offers a remarkable drag coefficient of 0.195 which is lower in comparison to 2010 Mercedes Benz E series coupe.

The L1 model features a 0.8 liter two cylinder turbocharged diesel engine which generates 27 horsepower in eco mode and 39 horsepower in the sports mode. This version is equipped with a 7 speed direct shift gearbox and a 14hp hybrid electric system which manages the fuel efficiency by switching off the engine as the vehicle comes to stop. It is expected that this model would accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 14.3 seconds with a top speed of 100 miles per hour.

All car aficionados who like to go green and prefer small cars can now breathe a sigh of relief, as their dream vehicle would be available very soon.

The new Golf R edition would feature a 2.0 liter TSI four cylinder engine which would generate 265 horsepower and a maximum torque of 258 pound feet. It would sprint from zero to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds at a top speed of 155mph. This model is teamed with 6 speed manual transmission and it offers a good fuel mileage of 27.7 mpg.

The Volkswagen 2010 Golf R will be styled similar to R32. The LED daytime running lights and tail lights at the rear end offers stylish and modern look. The company has announced that all VW fans can get a glimpse of the Golf R on the streets of Germany by the end of this year while it will adorn the US streets early next year.

BMW has unveiled its 2010 BMW X6 Active Hybrid at the Frankfurt Auto Show and is ready for retail sales also. This powerful vehicle is teamed with a twin turbo 4.4 liter V8 engine which produces 480 horsepower and 575 pound feet of torque. It is also equipped with nickel metal hydride hybrid power pack and has worked hard to gain the title of the world’s most powerful gasoline and electric hybrid passenger vehicle. With tough competition from other luxury maker of its class like Lexus, Cadillac, Mercedes Benz etc BMW has worked hard to get this respected title.

This  BMW edition  sprints at a speed of 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds at an electronically limited top speed of 130mph. It is completely fuel efficient and offers approximately 20 % better mileage than the other rivals which are equipped with V8 engines. The stop and start function also assist in reducing wasted fuel at idle.

This model offers an impressive fuel mileage in spite of the heavy weight. It is been known that this model weighs 5,000 pounds and an addition of 400 pounds of hybrid power train which is equipped to this model.

The X6 Active Hybrid version uses the two mode system by tying the electrical side to the gasoline side. They can alternatively provide extra power and charge the batteries at 50 KW regeneration rate. They can also trade power between each other as and when it is required. This feature assists in maximizing fuel efficiency and driving dynamics. It is also equipped with seven speed automatic transmission to provide better performance.

The electric motor generates its power from a NiMH high performance battery which is situated under the floor of the luggage compartment. It supplies energy to the cars on board network and when the brakes are applied the kinetic energy is converted to electrical energy and saved in the high performance battery. These exemplary functions provide good mileage as well as stunning performance.

This model is well styled with a huge doomed hood to store the electronic and diagnostic equipments and can be easily recognized even from a distance due to its distinctive look.

It is equipped with high performance brake system 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 380×36 mm vented and cross-drilled discs in front, and 355×28 mm discs and six-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the rear axle.

This model is going to be equipped with unique features on the exteriors as well as the interiors. The exteriors will be beautified with a new Frozen Gray Mettalic matte finish for the entire M6 line. The interiors would be decorated with Merino leather trims in light gray two tone finish with a contrasting stitch to offer an exciting look or will be available in black color.

To make it a high performance car it will be equipped with revised springs, dampers and stabilizers.  The height will also be lowered with 10mm lower up front and 12 mm lower in the rear.

However the Porsche Chopster is not an ultimate Mansory vehicle. In November last year Mansory purchased the Rinspeeds Porsche tuning arm and the designers of Mansory put up their own skills and crafted the vehicle which can be seen clearly in the detail shots.

The first generation of the Chopster made its debut last year at the Geneva Motor Show; the new iteration of this model will be seen during the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show.

The revamped version is estimated to undergo changes in body styles with 80mm wider bodies. it physical abilities would be highlighted by adding additional features such as boosted braking power with 420mm rotors upfront and 375 mm units in the rear. This big vehicle would be equipped with turbocharged V8 engine which would generate 710 horsepower and 665 pound feet of torque. This roadster would perform a top speed of 188 mph.

The interiors are fancy and can also optionally accommodate luxury equipments like a refrigerator, DVD player, head rest monitor screens and much more. Mansory will be equipped with all the amenities that you desire. The pricing is as luxurious as the interiors.

It is believed the coupe and the Convertible would undergo some serious changes in the body styling like the face lifted sedan which was launched last year. The exterior styling would possibly incorporate a wider track, and revamped headlight and taillights.

The interiors would get a new makeover and would add features such as a new armrest and a second generation iDrive Sytem with four selector buttons. The iDrive Sytem would sport a navigation system, a new 8.8 inch LCD Display and an optional 80 GB hard drive music.

The new version would additional have some mechanical features such as an auto stop and start function, a brake energy regeneration system, electro mechanical power steering with reduced rolling resistance.

The Club Racer will feature unique color options which are borrowed from their past color schemes like Elite yellow, old English white, sky blue and carbon Grey. The body style is also highlighted with silver and black paint splitting the cockpit down the middle and tying the sporting Club Racer theme together The Club Racer would also be equipped with upgraded interiors and light weight components which would offer good performance.

The interiors would also feature light weight microfiber seat covers, with comfort pads to add support without adding much weight. There are other exemplary features which are included such as an anthracite anodized gear knob and handbrake sleeve which add a racing touch. The interiors also include a small diameter steering wheel with leather edging and a set of light weight six spoke wheels shod in Yokohama AD07 rubber helps deliver the drivers intention to the road and the roads information to the driver.

The Club Racer will generate 134 horsepower and will weigh 2000 pounds. This speedster car would sprint at 60mph in just 5.7 seconds.

The Club Racer will make its debut at the Frankfurt Auto show and will also be available for sale thereon.
