The 2011 edition of Sorento is extremely different from the original vehicle which was launched in 2002 and then upgraded in 2005.  The new edition will enter production later this year and will be available for sale early next year. The company proposes to start production at a new factory in West Point, Georgia.

Body style:

The 2011 Sorento edition will be much longer and larger in size in terms of proportion. It will be able to seat more passengers comfortably than its predecessors. The designers have designed the new grille in a manner which makes it very appealing in comparison to the outdated edition.

Feature:

The new 2011 Sorento will feature options of four cylinders a four cylinder engine which would generate 172 horsepower and a 3.5 liter V6 engine which would produce 270 horsepower and a smaller four cylinder and diesel engine. Buyers will also have the option to choose from the five and six speed manual or automatic gearbox and the option of front or all wheel drive. It will also include additional features such as flexible third row seating, audio system with MP3 and ipod connectivity and a navigation system with Blue tooth connectivity.

Kia has taken all measure to make this vehicle and they are expecting a five star safety rating in the European Crash test NCAP.

Infiniti has decided to upgrade its 2010 edition with a set of option package and an all new Bose and Around View Monitor package, upgraded nav package which includes Bluetooth streaming audio, advanced climate control system and air purification system. It would also include XM Nav Weather and Zagat’s restaurant guide for on the go info.

The entire range would include standard features such as heated outside mirror, auto on/off headlights. The EX 35 with the rear wheel drive additionally features heated fronts seats also while the EX’s will feature an enhanced USB ipod connector port and Bose Audio System  with 2 gigabyte music hard drive.

The 2010 EX35 will be equipped with a 3.5 liter V6 engine which would generate 297 horsepower. It will also me mated with five speed automatic transmission. It will also feature a sleek and stylish body style like the 2009 edition.

The price for the EX35 with the all wheel drive will be tagged at $35,200 while the Journey rear drive will be priced at $36,000 and the all wheel Journey edition will be priced at $37,400.

The cars body styling is impressive and as a coupe like profile along with flavors of the 2009 Infiniti Essence Concept. The new car would feature an upgraded powertrain. The M37 and M37x will be equipped with a 3.7 liter V6 engine which would generate an approximate 330 horsepower. The M56 and M56x would be equipped with a 5.6 liter V8 engine which would produce 400 horsepower. All models will come with a standard seven speed automatic transmission. The M56 was seen sporting a 20 inch wheels and Bridgestone Potenza REO50A tires.

Mazda is all set to unveil its Mazda2 in the fall of 2010. The Mazda 2 will be available in three and five door hatchback body styles. The sedan version would be limited to some markets only. It is expected that the standard version will feature a 1.5 liter four cylinder gasoline engine which would generate 103 horsepower and 101 pound feet of torque.  It is expected that the overseas models would sprint from zero to 60 mph in 10.4 seconds. This edition would offer a fuel mileage of 41mpg in the combined driving cycle test.

The Mazda 2 would offer tough competition to Chevrolet Aveo, Honda Fit, and Toyota Yaris.

Body shape:

The new 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander has been well crafted with idiosyncratic and hostile styling. The new image of the updated version that floats the automotive market reveals a face lifted version of the car which is due to reveal in the next year.

It is believed that this new roadster would have a completely different driving experience compared to the Murcielago LP670-4 SV on which it is based.  The original version accelerates from zero to 60mph in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of     211mph, it is expected that the new version would be much more powerful and would be able to outshine all times. It would also include a Viscous Traction’ all-wheel-drive system and the most noted Lamborghinis e gear semi automatic transmission.

The designers are working at designing the new model SUV which is more focused in offering good performance and which is not very heavy unlike the present model. The  designers  have crafted the new model with  taller waistlines with a wheelbase which is shortened by  almost 40 mm and its height will also be reduced by 20 mm which will enable them to craft a smaller version which is not very heavy.

The spy shots also reveal some important details like they will be offered in various trims and each will be available with options of V6 or V8 engine including a turbo diesel option as well as a petrol electric hybrid engine which will be shared with its competitors like Panamera.

The trims are rumored to  be equipped with an Audi Sourced  3.0 L V6 turbo diesel engine which will generate 240 horsepower, followed by a 3.6 liter V6 petrol engine which will generate 330 horsepower and  premium option would offer 4.8 liter V8 engine which would produce 400 hp while the turbo model would get  a V8  twin turbocharged engine which would  generate 500 horsepower.

The Hybrid model is estimated to feature a V6 330 horsepower with a 45 horsepower electric power with lithium ion batteries or nickel metal hydride batteries.  Porsche will also include their new direct injection technology and Power will increase across the entire range but its emission and fuel economy would be reduced.  It is estimated that the new Cayenne will sprint at zero to 60mph in less than five seconds.

There are guesses about the interiors of this new model which will be redesigned with fewer controls than the present version. It is also presumed that the new version would characterize a redesigned centre console with air vents situated on the sides of the navigation screen.

It has been leaked that the new generation Cayenne would be produced in VW’s Bratislava plant in Slovakia and the unfinished vehicles would be transported to Porsches Leipzig plant for final touches and test drives.

There were early reports that indicated that the Eqqus would be priced at an estimate cost of $ 60,000 in the US. Lexus LS would be a tough competitor to Equus which is priced at $64700 which would include shipping. In South Korea the Eqqus would be priced at $50000 while the fully loaded version with all the high tech features would be priced $81000.

John Krafcik, Hyundai Motor America president and CEO said that the new version was displayed at the New York Auto show and had received excellent response. The company has sent a fleet at various places around the country to capture responses from dealers and consumers. The CEO added that they were happy to receive positive response from the consumers.

The market reaction was similar to the one that was received by the award winning Genesis. Genesis has also won the coveted 2009 North American Car of the Year and Hyundai is hoping to achieve the same once they launch their car.

The Equus has the luxury sedan size with 16.9 feet in length and 6.2 feet in width and 4.9 feet in height. The Eqqus will be equipped with 3.8 liter Lambda V6 engine and will generate 286 horsepower while another trim would be equipped with 4.6 liter Tau version which will generate 361 horsepower. The premium version of the Equus will be equipped with 5.0 liter Tau V8 version with along wheel base.

It is presumed that this version will offer options such as tilting rear seats, with TV screen in the rear seats.
