Mercedes Benz has received mixed response for its R class car. In spite of the declining sales of this edition Mercedes is not yet determined to completely write off this edition. First hand information: 2013 Mercedes Benz SL class

Mercedes Benz is all set to launch a series of new edition in the next couple of years. They have recently revealed information about the SLS AMG which is the new version of A and B class. It is expected that Mercedes will launch a series of SLK, CLS, ML and a new C class coupe. The spy cameras have also captured images of prototypes of a brand new SL class. The exterior looks similar to the current edition, however on a closer look it reveals that it is a prototype of the next gen SL which is due in 2012. Mercedes Benz officially unveiled its new edition 2011 Mercedes Benz E class cabriolet at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. They have announced that they wish to raise the design credentials of their cars. There are new details that have emerged for the upcoming 2011 Mercedes Benz SLK. It is expected that the next gen edition would be more masculine in appearance and will sport a brawnier look. From the various pieces of information that has been collected it seems that the new edition would be one of the most exciting cars from the Merc range. It is expected that the standard edition will also be power packed with 3.0 liter V6 engine which would generate 300-350 horsepower. Alfa Romeo To Hit The US Shores In 2010

American auto fans have had a long wait, but finally the Italian sports car Alfa Romeo will make its mark next year. Some of the most sought off cars will finally touch the US horizon shortly. Audi All Set To Target The US Market With Its New A1 Edition

The streets of Germany are witness to many new models that are being tested before they are launched. Earlier during this week we noticed prototypes of Audi’s new A1 premium model which is expected to be launched in late 2010 and will be recognized as a 2011 model. The 2010 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG will be the successor of the renowned Gullwing   300SL of the 1950. This impressive variety will be available in the roofless variant also. The company has been tight lipped about their debut but it is presumed that this version will make its debut around late 2011as a 2012 model. There are speculations whether the new model will feature a folding roof top or will be of the soft variant like the SLR roadster. The SLS AMG hard top would weigh around 3571 pounds while the roadster variant would weigh an approximate 3800 pounds. The heavy weight could be a hindrance in the performance for the hard roof type variant. Introducing The 2010 Mercedes Benz S400 Hybrid

Renowned brands like Mercedes are moving towards Go Green attitude and hence moving towards hybrid versions. The 2010 Mercedes Benz S class which was launched last year has moved from the production stages and is ready to reach the market. The Benz S class will feature a 3.5 liter V6 engine and a 15 kw electric motor which would generate 275 horsepower. The standard version would also be equipped with 7 speed automatic transmission. The S400 cannot run solely on electric power; however it provides a good gas mileage at 19 miles per gallon at city levels and 24 mpg on highway. Aston Martin And Mercedes Join Hands To Revive The Lagonda

The news of the failure of the Lagonda concept at the Geneva Motor Show has not diminished from the auto industry when an established player like Aston Martin has decided to revive the Lagonda brand. There are fresh reports of proposed partnership between Aston Martin and Mercedes. They would revive the Lagonda brand on the basis of Mercedes Benz S class. If they work in collaboration it will reduce the working time and also the overall costs which would increase the economies of scale in the formulated longer duration. It is expected that the company would launch the Lagonda sedan l in 2012 along side the next gen Maybach.
