Tesla Releases Snap Shots Of 2012 Model S

Earlier during the year Tesla released information about the prototypes of Model S sedan and opened the reservation books for the car. More than a thousand people have already placed their names on roll after paying a token of $5000.
There were more than 520 people who made reservations during the first week. Tesla CEO, Chairman and Product Architect Elon Musk has confirmed that “the number of cars reserved in the first week has exceeded our optimistic internal projections”. This shows that there is a widespread demand for more affordable and fuel efficient vehicles that are made in the US.
Today Tesla has released new photos of the car showing it in action on the streets with Tesla Franz Von Holzhausen (the designer of the car) as the man behind the wheels. The images show that the new Tesla model has beautiful body lines and some serious legs as well.
The CEO has confirmed that 2012 model S is much better than the cheaper conventional cars. Despite the numerous environmental benefits that this car offers, the lower cost of the vehicle would be the main reason for consumers to evolve from gas guzzlers to EVs. There are assumptions that the fuel prices would rise again even once the economy rights itself at such times the EVs would be highly considered.
Tesla has added to the buzz that they would come out with a signature S model. They will build only 2,000 of such cars which will be shared in Europe as well as US. This signature model will comprise of exclusive interiors and unique exterior feature. All those who wish to become a proud owner of this signature model can register their names with a $40,000 deposit.
The 2012 S model car is priced at $57,500 plus taxes. This car offers true value for money especially considering it was built in San Jose, California and it will offer good looks and win sprint from zero to 60mph in 5.5 seconds.
