The 2011 Mercedes Benz R class facelift edition already under works

Mercedes Benz has received mixed response for its R class car. In spite of the declining sales of this edition Mercedes is not yet determined to completely write off this edition. The R class ‘Grand Sport Tourer’ edition received a facelift in 2007 to help turn around its declining sales, and now a more extensive update is already on its way. There are many prototypes of this edition which were camouflaged and captured by spy cameras in the streets of Europe.
The first mild uplift came in 2007 to promote the car sales figures after the vehicle made its debut in 2005’s New York Auto Show. The first update witnessed an addition of the cheaper rear wheel drive model as well as a more flexible seven seater model. There were no major cosmetic and mechanical changes experienced by this edition.
However for the second update it is expected that Mercedes Benz will receive a few physical amendments such as a new front end and a revised rear end with refurbished interiors. It is expected that the updated edition will be launched in the second half of the year.
The images reveal that the revamped edition will feature angular headlights and a larger prominent grille. The rear end will sport minor changes with a redesigned bumper, exhaust tip and LED tail lamps.
This updated 2011 Mercedes Benz R class will make its world debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in March.

Mercedes facing a failure is very rare! They are not used to it. A small fault in the car and the engineers with full dedication start rectifying the errors. that is the reason of being a Class a trademark.
I always believe in elegance and class and for me Merc is the company which satisfies with both the condition.
I am just waiting for Merc SLS launch! what a car1 i’ve got a video on my facebook profile as well!! its a killer machine!
This one failure wont affect much to the company as there’s always a success followed by a failure! They will work more hard than before to cover their losses.
Company won’t be satisfied if their clients aren’t. Specially when its Merc which is known for its perfection.
