Los Angeles Auto Show in December will witness a revival of European styled Ford Fiesta hatchback. Ford has confirmed the news and has already started the Fiesta Movement. They have received an excellent response from auto fans; more than 50,000 people have expressed their desire out of which 97% of them do not drive Ford.
The 2011 Ford Fiesta is set to arrive in the US next summers and will feature a 1.6 liter four cylinder gasoline engine with twin independent variable valve timing. This would make the Fiesta the most happening non hybrid car on offer in the US.
Ford is expected to offer additional options such as Sync communication and entertainment interface with a high degree of technological connectivity. This feature has gained accolades in the Focus sedan.
The 2011 Ford Fiesta will also feature 16 inch aluminum wheels, keyless entry, four inch multifunction display, and a choice of three different cloth or leather upholstery. It also includes safety features such as seven airbags and a standard electronic stability control system.
The Fiesta has already bagged a space of number two best selling car in the European segment. Ford has delivered 21,800 cars to its customers solely in August. Approximately 340,000 current generation Fiestas have already been sold from the time it has been launched last autumn.
It is presumed that Ford will prove to be clear winner.
